Opening Ceremony Program

Friday 10 April 2009

2.00 pm   
Guests arrive and park at Bodhinyana Monastery and line Kingsbury Drivetowards Jhana Grove in order to witness the:
2.30 pm   
Celebratory Procession from Bodinyana to Jhana Grove
3.00-4.00 pm Afternoon Tea
3.00-4.00 pm Tours of Retreat Centre
3.00-4.00 pm Lion Dance and other entertainment
4.00-4.15pm Guests to be seated in the Meditation Hall and the Dining Hall
4.15 pm   
Formal Opening Ceremony commences
5.30 pm Ceremony concludes

 

 

Building

Jhana Grove Meditation Retreat Centre is currently undergoing the final stages of construction. It was offically opened by Geoff Gallop, the former premier of Western Australia on Good Friday 10 April 2009.
